Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Echo Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Job Details: • Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms in accordance with established practices and procedures • Conduct stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms • Assist in trans esophageal echocardiography procedures • Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notify cardiologists of examination results • Consult with cardiologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations • Determine technical factors to satisfy examination requirements • Participate in call rotation with minimum of 10 days per month required • Holiday rotation participation required • Receive direction from providers and department managers/supervisors • Quick start position available Facility: This comprehensive medical center provides advanced cardiovascular diagnostic services with a focus on echocardiography and cardiac imaging.
