The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the oversight of quality assurance related to service request data review and service request completion follow-up within the service request/work order management database (YARDI), as directed by the Facilities Manager/Director.
What you'll be doing:
Typical physical demands include regularly using hands to manipulate tools, equipment, supplies, and office equipment. Frequently standing, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, and stooping. Sitting and standing to do clerical work. Regularly lifting and moving equipment and supplies up to 75 lbs.
Typical work conditions include performing work in a maintenance/office/residential home environment. Employee frequently interacts directly with other staff members, contractors as well as residents during the workday.
High school diploma or GED, minimum of 10 years maintenance experience, residential construction, facility maintenance, property management, contract oversight, home inspection, solid computer skills, demonstrated strong customer service skills, advanced knowledge in at least one of the following disciplines: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, ability to diagnose problems, ability to perform quality control inspections on work and repairs completed, demonstrated ability to train on skill trades, demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, strong time management skills, ability to provide guidance and training to technicians, ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Possession of a valid state issued drivers license and safe driving record is required.
