Job Description: This position will perform scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance tasks to support a fleet of MH-139 at Malmstrom AFB, Montana in accordance with United States Air Force approved maintenance procedures and the Supplier approved Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) MH-139A maintenance procedures, as well as other documented maintenance and support procedures. Type Aircraft training on the MH-139 will be provided.
Responsibilities: Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution. Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes. Cleans parts using cleaning solutions and polishing and lapping compounds. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
