Key Responsibilities: - Maintain grounds by mowing lawns, trimming shrubs and trees, edging walkways, and planting flowers or trees to ensure a tidy and attractive appearance. - Perform regular landscaping tasks, including weeding, mulching, and watering plants to enhance curb appeal. - Clear debris, leaves, and litter from walkways, parking lots, and common areas to keep properties clean and safe. - Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and trimmers, ensuring proper care and safety. - Remove snow and ice from walkways, parking areas, and entrances during winter months, applying salt or sand as needed. - Clean and maintain interior spaces, including the clubhouse, leasing office, and apartment units during turnovers or as required. - Assist the Maintenance Team Lead with work orders, including minor repairs, painting, or moving furniture or appliances in apartment units. - Assist the Maintenance Team Lead with completing all apartment home make-readys including removing trash, painting, flooring, cleaning, and general repairs, according to clients needs.- Assist the Maintenance Team Lead with Pool/Spa maintenance as needed.- Inspect grounds daily to identify maintenance or safety issues and report findings to the Maintenance Team Lead. - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, landscaping materials, and tools, notifying the Team Lead when restocking is needed. - Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and local regulations in all tasks.- Promptly and professionally respond to after-hours emergency maintenance requests. - Additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPO) preferred.- 1+ years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance; multifamily or residential property experience a plus. - Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, snow removal, and cleaning practices. - Familiarity with operating groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail. - Good communication and customer service skills for interacting with residents and client staff. - Valid drivers license required- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours, including weekends, early morning, late evening, and occasional on-call shifts.- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull heavy equipment, and perform repetitive tasks like shoveling or sweeping. - Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, or working outdoors for extended periods. - Able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces as needed for cleaning or maintenance tasks.Benefits: - Competitive hourly wage. - Paid time off
