Job Details

Technical responsibility for providing semi-skilled operation of water pumping, purification and related equipment within the citys water treatment plant. Work is performed under the close direction and supervision of the Water Treatment Branch Manager, Water Plant Superintendent, Plant Foreman or other supervisory employee. Essential Functions of Work Conducts plant inspections to read and record readings of equipment gauges, dials, graphs and other instrumentation. Performs general plant and equipment maintenance, cleaning and repairs. Collects process treatment samples for analysis to determine adherence to quality assurance standards. Performs Basic Laboratory analysis in adherence with established protocols. Works with skilled craftsmen on installation, maintenance or repair projects.
