A Civil/Design Engineering Consulting firm near Dover, DE is seeking a Civil Engineer to work remotely from their home. Candidate will be expected to prepare, evaluate, and recommend solutions for civil engineering projects; Prepare presentation documents for use in client meetings and public hearings; Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications; Provide third party reviews of plans and specifications; Provide contract administration services during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications; Prepare engineering computations and design reports; Perform related duties as assigned or required to meet company goals and objectives. Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated and willing to put forth the full effort towards the task at hand. Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer on path toward licensure. Job Requirements: BS in Civil Engineering; 1-5 years' experience in land development, site design, stormwater management, erosion/sediment control, and environmental permitting; AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D experience required; Must live within 3 hour commute to Dover, DE.
